The Traveling Castle is a beautiful 6-meter (~20-foot) tiny house built by Nantes, France-based tiny home builder, Baluchon. The home features a large video projection screen in the bedroom loft.
The exterior of the Traveling Castle is clad in red cedar and standing seam aluminum siding. The aluminum siding matches the roof, windows, and front door.
As you first enter the home, you’ll see the living room with its large picture window that follows the shape of the gable roof. Below the window is a built-in bench seat that slides out into a bed for two people.
Two wall shelves are hung with leather straps. Below the shelves is a dining table that can accommodate up to four people.
The kitchen has plenty of counter space with an L-shaped counter along one wall and another counter along the opposite wall. The kitchen is equipped with a four burner gas range, under counter refrigerator, and sink with built-in drainboard.
The bedroom loft has a chest of drawers for storage, and a video projection screen that lowers under a hatch in the floor. The home also has automation via the Netatmo app, which can control the lights.
The bathroom includes an 80x80cm shower, dry toilet with chip compartment, and two wardrobes.
The tiny house will be used as the primary residence for the owners, Julien and Cindy, and their dog in the Brittany region of France.
