Built by Modern Tiny Living as a nightly vacation rental for River and Twine, the Rodanthe is a 24-foot tiny home based on their popular Kokosing model. The home was named after a community on North Carolina’s Outer Banks.
River and Twine is a tiny house hotel located on the Rocky Mount Mills campus in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
The Rodanthe was built on a 24-foot Trailer Made custom tiny home trailer. The home is clad in lapped Smart Siding with a 60-year warranty and a steel roof with a 40-year warranty.
Inside the tiny home are poplar walls and vinyl flooring for easy maintenance. The stained wood finishes add vibrant color against the white walls and light gray flooring.
The living room has the popular Kokosing social area with built-in bookcases and benches with drawers. The benches fold out into a bed that sleeps two.
The kitchen features a stainless steel countertop, custom cabinetry, a 30″ undermount stainless steel sink, plug-in two burner cooktop, convection oven, and under counter refrigerator.
Across from the kitchen is a dining bar and storage staircase. The staircase leads up to the king size bedroom loft.
At the rear of the home is the bathroom with custom barn door, fiberglass shower, and flush toilet.
