Modern Tiny Living, an Ohio-based tiny house builder, has recently unveiled their latest creation: the Pathway.

This fully custom tiny house, measuring 18 feet by 8.5 feet, boasts a range of unique features designed to meet the specific vision of its customer.

A Blank Canvas for a Tranquil Retreat

The journey of the Pathway began with a customer who had a clear vision in mind. Nestled on a serene 5-acre piece of land with breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains in Colorado, the goal was to create a tiny home that maximized the enjoyment of this stunning backdrop.

To achieve this, the decision was made to build a smaller tiny home, measuring 18 feet in length, while incorporating clever features to enhance its functionality.

Designed for Entertaining

The Pathway is more than just a cozy retreat; it’s a space for entertaining friends and family. Modern Tiny Living took this into account when crafting the design.

One standout feature is the rooftop deck, a first for the company. Accessible via a spiral staircase provided by the customer, the deck features a collapsible safety railing. This addition allows for memorable sunset gatherings and happy hours with a view that will leave lasting memories.

Maximizing Mountain Views

Inside the tiny home, the focus is on maximizing the views of the majestic mountains.

To achieve this, the design team opted for minimal built-ins, prioritizing window square footage. The result is a tranquil interior that allows the natural beauty of the surroundings to take center stage.

But how do you reach the sleeping loft without stairs? The answer: a custom pulley-operated ladder, a novel addition that frees up space in the common area.

Comfortable Accommodations for Four

The Pathway is designed to comfortably accommodate four adults. In addition to the sleeping loft accessed by the custom ladder, the L-shaped couch in the common area converts into a cozy queen-size bed.

The inclusion of beautiful double doors adds to the charm, providing a seamless connection to the mountain views, fresh air, and natural light.
