In the tiny house quest for efficiency, there is a much needed call for form to follow function. Handcrafted Movement answered the call with this beautifully designed artisan tiny house, Urban Craftsman.
This 290-square-foot tiny house was designed by Matt Impola as he sought to provide the most in comfort and design from raw material, thus giving the tiny house an inviting living area. The vintage couch is full grain leather set on a reclaimed solid oak herringbone floor. The space feels warm due to the rich blue paneled wall and the electric fireplace, attractively placed under a salvaged oak wood mantle.
The kitchen also has classic touches such as the tiled white backsplash behind the full stove and the farmhouse ceramic sink with copper faucet. The warmth is increased by the butcher block kitchen counter that extends into a breakfast nook, complete with built in leather seat and bronze stools.
Other notable attributes that complete the house are the vented skylight in the loft sleeping area and white bathroom soaking tub. This house is not only efficient, but comfortable, warm, and pleasing to the eye.
The Urban Craftsman was listed for $72,000.
