The Huckleberry is a 30-foot tiny house built by Rewild Homes, complete with a ground floor master bedroom and plenty of storage space.
The over-width tiny house is 10-feet wide and has a bay window seat. Rewild Homes used reclaimed wood for several items throughout the home.
In the kitchen are reclaimed countertops made from structural beams salvaged from a factory in Vancouver. There is also reclaimed shelving from the client’s personal supply.
A vintage reclaimed Jotul woodstove has a bread oven and dual cooktops. The kitchen appliances include a portable induction cooktop and mid-size refrigerator/freezer.
The main floor bedroom features a giant closet with mirror.
A handmade Dutch door leads into the bathroom. The bathroom includes a vintage cast iron bathtub with reclaimed faucet, which was salvaged from a family friend and brought all the way from Scotland! There is also a reclaimed vanity, salvaged by the client’s grandmother in Quebec. The bathroom has in-floor heating under the natural slate tile.
