Häuslein Tiny House Co. presents the GrandHaus, a revamped version of the beloved Grand Sojourner. This new model retains all the charm and luxury of its predecessor while incorporating several exciting updates to enhance your living experience.
Updated Materials for Enhanced Appeal
One of the most noticeable changes is the use of new build materials. The GrandHaus now features striking Basalt color architectural steel cladding and heat-treated Lunawood cladding, offering a sleek and modern look. The screwless finish and vibrant new color have already garnered positive feedback.
Inside, you’ll find a shift from cypress pine to oak. The new laminated oak benchtops, stair treads, breakfast bar, and engineered oak flooring provide stability and elegance. While cypress pine was beautiful, it tended to develop cracks with climate changes. Oak offers a more stable alternative without compromising on aesthetics.
Modern Interior Design
The interior now boasts birch ply lining board with shadow lines, replacing the traditional pine tongue and groove. This birch ply, finished with a whitewash, highlights the timber grain and pairs beautifully with the oak, creating a modern yet warm atmosphere.
Enhanced Features for Comfort
The GrandHaus comes with larger doors and windows, including a significant bi-fold door that opens the tiny house to an outdoor area or deck you might add later. The bedrooms are more spacious, featuring privacy walls, additional storage, and connected by ‘paddle stairs’ for easy access.
Spacious Living Areas
The kitchen remains roomy, with ample storage, and the lounge area feels open with plenty of windows. The bathroom/laundry area rivals that of any traditional home, featuring an Italian stone shower base and modern functionality. To top it off, the new LED strip feature lighting adds a contemporary ambiance to the entire space.
