With its three bedrooms, the Grand Sojourner by Häuslein Tiny House Co is an excellent option for a family looking to downsize. There is a main floor bedroom and two bedroom lofts.
The Grand Sojourner measures 9-meters long (~30-feet) and has a total living area of 32-square-meters (~344-square-feet) between the main floor and two lofts.
The exterior finishes include slate matte Trimdeck Colorbond paired with western red cedar accents. Durable aluminum windows all come with flyscreens and double glazing is available. The home is insulated with fiberglass wool and silver sarking (R2+).
Inside the Grand Sojourner are finishes similar to the original Sojourner. The interior walls are lined with solid pine paneling painted white. The main living area flooring and bench tops are solid cypress pine, with carpeting in the bedrooms.
The kitchen and bathroom cabinets are made out of high quality solid Rhino Ply (no chip board). The galley kitchen includes a generous amount of storage space, a breakfast bar with room for two bar stools, solid cypress pine shelving, modern black fixtures, and white subway tile backsplash. There is space for an efficient drawer dishwasher, full size oven and stove, and a full size 450L refrigerator.
The living room features a slide-out with room for a full size couch and an entertainment area with space for a large wall mounted TV.
The downstairs bedroom has a wardrobe and space for a double bed. There are also options for a Murphy bed and work/hobby desk.
Each loft is large enough for a queen size bed, or they can be used as a study, living area, entertainment room, study, etc. There is enough height in the lofts for a couch or to sit at a desk.
The large bathroom provides plenty of room for a full size corner shower, custom cupboard and sink unit, front loader washing machine or washer/dryer combo, four large drawers, shelving for towels, and a traditional flush toilet.
