Lyons, Colorado-based SimBLISSity Tiny Homes built this custom 22-foot tiny home for their client, Ashley. It will be parked on Ashley’s rural property and serve several purposes over the years: nanny home, caretaker residence, she-shed, etc.
The 280-square-foot tiny home has a metal single-pitch, gable roof. The exterior siding is cedar tongue-and-groove with a metal skirt that matches the roof.
The kitchen features a two burner cooktop, Danby 9.2 cu.ft. refrigerator, and microwave/convection oven. The blue steel backsplash allows the owner to use magnetic spice jars.
Next to the kitchen counter is a propane fireplace that faces the living room. In the living room is an L-shaped sofa with with built-in storage. Luxury vinyl plank flooring was used throughout the home.
There are two lofts in the home — a 10-foot main bedroom loft and a 4-foot loft. The main bedroom is large enough for a queen size bed and has built-in shelving for clothes. Storage stairs lead to the main loft and a ladder is used for the second loft.
In the bathroom is a shower with blue steel shower surround, vanity with steel backsplash, and composting toilet. There is also a water heater closet for the on-demand propane water heater.
