The Stable is a 380-square-foot tiny house with a built-in kegerator, custom library cove with hidden storage, and flooring made from reclaimed bourbon barrel planks. The house was designed by VIVA Collectiv and was a collaborative build between Tiny House Building Company and the crew of Tiny House Nation. It was featured on Season 4, Episode 6 of the show.
The Stable has a vintage Kentucky bourbon tasting room theme with its antique finished walls, corrugated steel panels for the ceiling, the bourbon barrel flooring, and reclaimed barrels for the dining table, stools, and the walls around the kegerator.
The owners didn’t want a traditional loft plan, so they flipped it where the shorter headroom was on the main floor for the library cove and the full height headroom was on top. On the platform is a queen size murphy bed that stores the stool tops and dining table.
In the bathroom is a beautiful waterfall shower with stone surround.
