Pequod at WeeCasa Tiny House Resort

The Pequod is a whimsical tiny house available for nightly rental at WeeCasa Tiny House Resort in Lyons, Colorado. The wavy roof maximizes the loft heights while creating a unique design.

Built by Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses in Durango, Colorado, the 26-foot tiny house was constructed using structural insulated wall panels (SIPs) and custom milled vertical grain Douglas Fir for the ceiling.

The home features handcrafted arch top french doors, custom arched windows in the loft, and solid brass antique porthole windows. The exterior consists of painted board-and-batten, clear grain cedar lap siding, and cedar shingles.

Inside the Pequod are two lofts connected by a welded steel catwalk with plexiglass flooring. Storage stairs lead up to the master loft with queen bed, then the catwalk connects the second loft with two twin beds.

In the main living area is a custom built movable couch, a dining table with bench/ottoman section, and a wood stove. Birch hardwood flooring was used throughout the home.

The kitchen has custom hickory and walnut countertops, a pantry with pull-out shelves, and full size appliances.

The bathroom includes a 36″x32″ shower, flush toilet, and sink. There is also a large garden window above the sink.
