Dale Geist and his son, Scott, are the team behind Tiny By Design. Scott joined Dale’s development and construction company 17 years ago and they have been working together ever since. Recently, Dale decided to start simplifying his life.
After much research, it became obvious to Dale that the tiny house market was not taking into consideration small families or retirees looking to downsize their lives. Dale feels the DS 400 model is the answer to that need in the tiny house market. – Tiny By Design
The DS 400 is a 24′ tiny house with 400 square feet of living space. It has a double slide out and fold down porch. Custom cabinetry includes a multi-function hutch with queen bed, dining table and bench, two food pantries, and two closets. The living room also has a custom built sofa, love seat, and secretary desk.
The two lofts are large enough for a king and queen size bed.
This model was on display at the 2016 Tiny House Roadshow in Cookeville, TN.
