The 300-square-foot Big Country has plenty of space for a family with its main floor bedroom and two lofts. Each bedroom loft has a skylight and they are connected by a catwalk.
Designed by Brian Crabb at VIVA Collectiv, the exterior is wrapped with dark stained siding and a skirt of green standing seam metal that matches the roof. Full light french doors lead into the house.
The cozy interior is finished with dark wood floors, ceiling, and trim to contrast the whitewashed walls. As you first enter the house you’ll find the kitchen with a full size refrigerator and gas range, an apron sink, and antique white cabinetry.
To the left is a multifunction table with barstools, a stove, and the main floor master bedroom. Above the master bedroom is the larger loft with two skylights.
On the other side of the house is the second loft above the bathroom.
The bathroom has a soaking tub, composting toilet, and stackable washer and dryer.
The house was built by Valley Construction in Marsing, Idaho, art direction was by Jessica Canovas, and photography was by Craig Williams.
