The Acorn House is a traditional style tiny house with a gable roof and double dormers. Nelson Tiny Houses built the house using cedar shingles and corrugated metal siding, a metal roof, and a fold down porch.
The house is 135-square-feet on the main floor, plus it has a queen size sleeping loft and a storage loft.

Inside are Canadian maple floors, custom furniture built with reclaimed materials, and a fold down table. A full pantry, beautiful butcher block counter, and four burner stove are in the kitchen. A retractable loft ladder stays out of the way when not in use.
The Acorn house can be customized to be off grid. A basic 15′ model is $40,000 CAD.
