This tiny house was raffled off for the second Tiny House Giveaway as a way to raise funds for Lamon Luther, a woodworking shop that employs craftsmen that have been directly affected by homelessness and addiction.
Our goal is to hire 100 deserving craftsmen by 2017. We realize we can’t achieve our goals without with a little help from our supporters. So we are doing giveaways to raise support to expand our operations and raise much needed capital. – Brian Preston
The house was designed by Brian Preston, owner of Lamon Luther, and it was a collaborative build between Brian and Clint Gooch of Mustard Seed Tiny Homes. Both Lamon Luther and Mustard Seed Tiny Homes are located in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area.
The 368-square-foot tiny house features a full kitchen with a large island that doubles as a table, a freestanding range, and apartment-size refrigerator. There is a queen bedroom on the main floor and a queen sleeping loft with stairs. Reclaimed wood was used on the exterior and throughout the interior finishes.
The winner was chosen on October 5th, 2016.
