Constructed from a 40-foot high cube shipping container, The Lily Pad is an intimate retreat designed exclusively for two. Despite its compact size, it spans 300 square feet of internal living space, complemented by an expansive 480 square feet of outdoor living area.
This space is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream, featuring a hot tub, gas grill, cozy swing bed, and a seating area perfect for enjoying the natural surroundings. Additionally, a fire pit and lounge chairs are set up for those quintessential evenings of roasting hotdogs and marshmallows under the stars.
The interior of The Lily Pad seamlessly blends modern design with practical functionality. A key highlight is the picturesque glass garage door. This motorized, full-view door can be opened to effortlessly blend the indoor space with the outdoor environment, offering a unique and immersive experience.
Additionally, the main floor bedroom features a large picture window that provides views of the local deer and picturesque landscape. For added privacy, a motorized blackout blind is also available.
Every detail in The Lily Pad is curated for comfort and convenience. The private bathroom, located off the bedroom, includes a shower. The living area is made cozy with a gas fireplace, a plush leather couch, and a small dining setup.
The kitchen, though compact, is fully equipped with a small refrigerator, induction cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and all necessary cooking utensils, plates, bowls, and glasses.
Situated on 30 acres of wooded terrain, The Lily Pad’s location is as impressive as its design. It sits conveniently on OH-664, just a five-minute drive from the entrance of the famous Old Man’s Cave. (It’s important to note that there is no walking trail from the property to Old Man’s Cave, but the drive itself is short and scenic.)
