Bob’s Containers introduces “Joshua“, a groundbreaking 40-foot container home that made a splash on Netflix. This model stands as a pinnacle of innovation and comfort in the world of shipping container tiny homes. It’s a space where design ingenuity and homeliness blend seamlessly, offering a living experience that is both impressive and cozy.
The transformation of a used container into the “Queer Eye” container home is a tale of collaboration and creativity. Bob’s Containers joined forces with the Queer Eye team, infusing the space with vitality and flair. Attention to detail was paramount in this project, with Bob’s Containers gaining insights into sophisticated aspects of interior and exterior design from one of the globe’s top design teams.
Central to the living area is a hand-painted picture by a Queer Eye team member, setting a tone of personal touch and artistic elegance.
The space is crafted for entertainment and relaxation, epitomized by the concept of “Netflix and chill.” Adding to the bespoke nature of the home is a custom family crest, a symbol of heritage and continuity. The outdoor area is not left behind, featuring a custom cooking space that blends functionality with aesthetic appeal.
The bathroom in Joshua is generously sized, providing a sanctuary for personal care and wellness. It serves as a transition zone to the serene bedroom, which is brightened by two large windows and a sliding glass door, fostering a connection with the outdoors.
The exterior of Joshua makes a bold statement with its black eggshell finish, a deliberate choice to draw focus to the detailed features like the family crest and the outdoor cooking area.
