Surf Shack by Alex Wyndham

Built as a custom mobile surf shack for Santa Barbara, California residents, Amber and Tommy, this tiny house allows the couple to stay close to the beach where they enjoy surfing and rowing. The 300-square-foot tiny house was designed by Alex Wyndham and featured on Season 3, Episode 5 of Tiny House Nation.

With its 12-foot tall ceilings and floor-to-ceiling garage door in the living room, the Surf Shack has an open, airy interior that allows the owners to enjoy the beautiful California weather.

A private balcony next to the bedroom loft gives the couple an ocean view, while a repurposed surfboard deck off the living room provides a place for entertaining.

In the 20-foot tiny house is a galley kitchen with ample counter space and storage.

There is extra storage in the custom winder staircase that Zack Giffin built, plus there is outdoor storage for the couple’s ten surf and paddle boards.

The bathroom continues the beach theme with its sapphire blue mosaic tile shower.
