The Sportsman is a collaborative build between Adam Lehman of A New Beginning Tiny Homes and Andrew Bennett of Trekker Trailers. The tiny house was built for a client that had some major health issues and is now getting back in shape.
The exterior of the 28′ steel framed tiny house consists of a shed roof, metal siding, cedar shakes, and white trim, giving it a modern craftsman style. The house also has an outdoor shower, outdoor storage locker, and a rock climbing wall is built into one side, allowing the owner to keep active wherever he goes.
The living room is large enough for a full couch and entertainment center. The loft above the living room is an infrared sauna with natural aromatic cedar walls. The staircase to the bedroom loft leads to a platform with 6’6″ of headroom, making it easy to get into the queen size loft. A cedar lined closet is at the end of the platform.
The beautiful kitchen has custom built cabinets with soft-close drawers, a high-end 220v Fisher & Paykel induction cooktop, French door refrigerator, stainless steel farm sink, and Brazilian teak countertops.
There are two 500w electric heaters and a mini-split system, allowing for plenty of heat and A/C as needed.
