The Sherloak Homes by Acorn Tiny Homes delivers a practical and stylish solution for those needing flexibility without sacrificing comfort.
Created in collaboration with a Canadian Forces member, this 372-square-foot tiny home is designed to move with its owner as they transfer bases every few years, offering an alternative to traditional housing challenges.
Inside, the Sherloak embraces warmth and elegance, with solid oak and rift sawn white oak walls creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The space is cleverly divided, featuring two separate lofts and a hidden bookshelf door that adds both charm and functionality.
Storage is thoughtfully integrated throughout, including deep closet spaces and over 25 square feet of butcher block countertop, providing plenty of room for both cooking and dining.
The bathroom is another highlight, offering a 5-foot shower with large-format tiles and a hideaway toilet. A tankless water heater and 420-liter freshwater storage tank ensure convenience and sustainability, making this home ready for off-grid living if needed.
The exterior of the Sherloak is as impressive as the interior, showcasing a durable cherry wood grain steel finish and Shou Sugi wood accents crafted by DK Woodworks.
A built-in three-season porch with skylights adds an extra touch of luxury, allowing for outdoor relaxation no matter the weather.
Designed with both mobility and longevity in mind, the Sherloak Homes is a testament to how tiny living can be both practical and enriching, especially for those who need their home to move with them.
