Designed and crafted by Jonathan Avery from Tiny House Scotland, the NestPod was built using environmentally-friendly construction practices. From concept to completion, Jonathan carries out all trades himself so he can control every step of the process.
All wood-based materials are FSC certified and there is no OSB, MDF, or chipboard. The exterior is Western Red Cedar with standing seam metal accents that match the roof. The windows, door, and skylights are aluminium.
Inside the NestPod is a large galley kitchen with mobile trolley, dishwasher, gas oven, and refrigerator/freezer. The oven and refrigerator will be supplied by the client after shipping. Also, this particular model was built for a client that did not want a living area since one will be added later in a separate NestPod.
A bunkroom offers three beds, pull-out storage boxes under the bottom bed, a desk, trolley, and built-in shelving. There is also a master loft with large storage area and Western Red Cedar finishes.
In the bathroom you’ll find a Japanese deep soak tub, SunMar composting toilet, and modern sink.
