With its large window wall and full length skylight, the mini cabin by Contemporary Shepherds Huts offers a light and spacious design. The slatted apex of the roof is designed to maximize year-round daylight, but provide shade during the summertime’s midday sun.
The exterior of the cabin is galvanized steel. The cabin is movable, but not made to stay on wheels. The owner was able to move the house with a tractor on his property, then he removed the wheels. A large veranda creates a nice place to enjoy the outdoors.
As you enter the cabin you’ll find the living room and kitchenette. The kitchenette includes a stainless steel molded unit with two burner cooktop and sink. The stainless steel top matches the movable kitchen island. Under the counter is a mini refrigerator/freezer.
Beyond the kitchen is the bedroom and bathroom. A rusty steel pocket door leads into the bathroom, which includes a zinc shower stall.
