The Kinetohaus was designed and built by Davis Richardson as a project while attending University of Texas at Austin. The goal was to make a tiny house on wheels for under $25,000, in nine weeks, so he could live in it while attending graduate school.
The 240-square-foot tiny house was featured on “Tiny House, Big Living” and at SXSW 2017. Davis is living in the house now, but he is also renting it out through Airbnb.
The Kinetohaus exterior consists of stained hemlock and polycarbonate with a corrugated metal roof and accent piece.
Inside, you’ll find a roomy living space with custom sofa, bedroom loft, and full kitchen.
The kitchen has a 24″ four burner gas range and refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom has a corrugated metal shower.
