The Ever Growing Tiny House was designed by Cody Bartz and featured on Season 4, Episode 2 of Tiny House Nation. The 330-square-foot house was built by Glenmark Construction and Zack Giffin.
Built on a 28-foot trailer, the tiny house has 220-square-feet of living space on the first floor and 110-square-feet between the two lofts. Each loft extends over the trailer by two feet, making the house a total of 32-feet long.
The exterior is finished with faux barn wood installed vertically and a full light front door. Fourteen windows around the house provide plenty of natural light.
Inside the Ever Growing Tiny House are whitewashed pine tongue-and-groove walls, dark oak ceiling planks, and dark oak laminate flooring. Radiant floor heating keeps the house warm and comfortable in the winter.
The oversized galley kitchen provides ample counter space and modern appliances.
Next to the kitchen is Zack’s custom wall garden with three planter boxes. The boxes are connected to a drip system and have LED lights. Behind the garden is a faux stone tile wall.
The master bedroom loft has some bohemian touches and a privacy wall with shelving.
On the other side of the house is Cody’s office loft with space for his artwork.
Below the bedroom loft is a multifunction space that’s used as a music room and converts into a guest bedroom with twin size bed.
The bathroom includes a full size bathtub, stackable washer/dryer, and composting toilet.
