From Calgary, Alberta-based Blackbird Tiny Homes is the Crow, a 24-foot off-grid tiny home on wheels. The off-grid solar power package includes two 165-watt solar panels, four 6-volt AGM maintenance free batteries, a charge controller, and a Magnum 2000-watt inverter/charger.
The Crow is insulated to withstand the Canadian winters with its spray foam insulation: R-33 in the floor including R-5 thermal break, R-22 in the walls, and R-33 in the ceiling.
The exterior consists of cedar and metal siding and a metal split gable roof. There is also an aluminum framed, black powder coated rear deck with cedar decking. The deck flips up and locks in place when traveling.
Interior features include an LED projection TV with pull-down screen and a Cubic Mini Grizzly wood-burning stove w/ mini tools and heat shields. Storage stairs lead up to the queen size bedroom loft with dresser.
The kitchen is equipped with upper and lower cabinets from IKEA, a Dickinson Marine three burner propane range, an LG 11.5 cu.ft. top mount refrigerator/freezer, and a 1.6 cu.ft. washing machine.
Laminate flooring runs throughout the main part of the tiny home and waterproof vinyl plank flooring was used in the bathroom.
The full bathroom includes a 34″ corner shower, composting toilet, IKEA tall cabinet, and IKEA vanity.
