This 6-meter (approx 20-foot) French tiny house was built by Cahute for their client, MarieJo. Its red trim, french doors, and roof give a touch of color to contrast the natural wood siding.
The roofline is split between a shed style roof over the living room and a barrel roof over the bedroom loft.
As you first enter through the French doors you walk into the living room where there is a large wrap-around bench with red cushions, providing a perfect place to entertain guests.
To the right is a set of cabinets and open shelving with plenty of storage space. A fold down table with extra storage is on the opposite wall.
Beyond the storage area is a simple kitchen with a cooktop, sink, and a table in front of a large window that overlooks MarieJo’s garden.
A bathroom with shower stall, composting toilet, and vanity is at the far end of the house.
Above the kitchen and bathroom is the bedroom loft. With the different rooflines, the bedroom offers more privacy than most tiny houses. The loft is large enough for a double bed and has a built-in dresser.
