Bozeman Off-Grid Tiny House

Bozeman Off-Grid Tiny House

This 280-square-foot tiny house is ready for off-grid living with its solar panel system, 50-gallon fresh water tank, propane appliances, and a composting toilet.

The tiny house, built in 2016, has all cedar siding, a cedar porch, and a metal roof. Spray foam insulation was used in the ceiling, walls, and floor, giving it an R-21 insulation value.

A Morso wood stove and Ashley direct vent propane heater keep the place warm in the winter. The 1000 watt solar panel system includes:

  • (4) 250 watt panels
  • Solar controller
  • Battery charger
  • 2000 watt inverter with wall mounted readout
  • Shore power automatic transfer switch
  • (4) deep cycle batteries

There are two lofts and a downstairs bedroom with closet space.

The kitchen is equipped with a four burner propane stove and oven, refrigerator, pantry, and granite countertops.

The bathroom includes a corner shower, sink, and Separett composting toilet.
