The Beach House was built by Kamtz Tiny Home Company and won Best in Show at the Colorado Tiny House Festival. This is the second year in a row that Kamtz won Best in Show! (View last year’s winner.)
The tiny home was built on a 28-foot trailer with two-foot overhangs on either end, giving it a total length of 32-feet. The exterior gets its beach vibe from the blue shingles, which are complemented with gray metal siding. A serving window next to the kitchen makes it easy to entertain outdoors.
The beach theme carries into the home with sea green wall panels and kitchen cabinets. The interior finishes include tongue-and-groove siding, routed panels, and a reclaimed barnwood feature wall by Woodwol in the living room.
The Beach House has a stand-up master bedroom with queen bed and a second loft large enough to fit a king bed.
In the kitchen is a freestanding gas range, refrigerator with bottom freezer, and sink with gooseneck faucet.
The bathroom includes a corner vanity with vessel sink and a custom shower built with a lightweight Wedi system. The shower weighs less than 20 pounds and has a pre-sloped pan.
